Ministries & Outreaches

"There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are
diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all."
— 1 Corinthians 12:5–6 (NKJV)

Ministries: Serving Each Other

The ministries at Great Commission Anglican Church are how we serve each other, build each other up, and fellowship. And we want you to join in!

As Christ welcomed the little children to come to Him during His earthly ministry, children are welcome to stay in the services at GCAC or participate in Children's Church (Ages Preschool to High School) available any time there is a sermon or extended adult discussion taking place in the main service.

Parents with infants and toddlers are joyfully welcomed to bring their children to Children's Church, but we ask that a family caretaker stay in the children's area with their little ones if any older children are in attendance that day.

(If your child has had a fever within the past 24 hours, we ask that your child not attend the Children's Church that day. But please let us know if you'd like the class to pray for them for healing!)

Do you love to make people feel welcome and part of the Family of God? Is hospitality one of your giftings? If you're interested in helping to make sure that there's a friendly face to greet newcomers at the door or helping fill tables for our community time after services, please fill out a Ministry Interest Form or speak to Pastor Jim or Deaconess Joanne.

Do you have a gift for photography or videography? Does creating shareables for Facebook and Instagram give you a thrill? Maybe you are ready to serve by helping put together and/or run the powerpoint during services?

All of these (and more) are part of the many ways that the Media Ministry serves at GCAC, helping to share what's happening and inviting others to join in.

Do you have a heart for musical worship? If you would like to serve as part of the Praise Band as an instrumentalist or vocalist, please fill out a Ministry Interest Form or speak to Deaconess Joanne to learn more. (Auditions required.)

The Bible instructs us to pray for one another and to pray without ceasing. It's a cornerstone of our Christian ministry. If prayer is part of how you'd like to serve the church, please let us know by either speaking to Pastor Jim or Deaconess Joanne, or by submitting a Ministry Interest Form.

Outreaches: Serving Our Community

We share Christ with our community not by insisting that they come to us, but by finding ways to bring Christ's love to them! Learn more about the ways that GCAC is serving those in Bealeton, VA and the surrounding community.
